## The governing policy

superdoc.dev is operated by Harbour Enterprises, Inc. Harbour's Privacy Policy is the authoritative statement of how personal data is collected, used and shared, and the Website Terms of Use govern the use of this site. This page summarises what this website in particular does with data, so you can see it at a glance.

## What this website collects

- Analytics: the site uses Google Analytics to measure visits and page views.
- Newsletter: if you subscribe, your email address is sent to our email provider (Resend) so we can send you the newsletter. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
- Preferences: settings such as dark mode and dismissed banners are kept in your browser's local storage and are not sent to us.

## The interactive demo

- A document you open in the demo editor is processed in your browser. It is not uploaded to superdoc.dev unless you use a feature that needs the demo's server.
- The AI features send your instruction and the relevant document content to the demo's backend, which forwards them to the configured model provider to produce the edit. The backend may log prompts and diagnostics in order to operate and improve the demo.
- Sharing a document for live collaboration creates a room with our collaboration provider (Liveblocks). Anyone with the room link can see and edit that document for as long as the room exists. Rooms are a demo convenience, not a storage service: do not share documents you need to keep private.

## SuperDoc the product

SuperDoc itself is self-hosted and runs inside your own infrastructure. It does not require document content to be sent to or stored by SuperDoc, and its telemetry is configurable and can be disabled, including for deployments that cannot send data outside their environment. Your application controls storage, access, retention and data residency.
