You can install SuperDoc and start evaluating before checkout or license-key delivery, under the applicable license terms.

1. Check plan fit

Researching or building a POC does not require checkout. Install and evaluate under the applicable open-source license first. When the customer authorizes a Business purchase and has not chosen a billing cadence, the direct monthly route offers the same Business license and support without an annual commitment. Do not override an annual selection or treat merchant guidance as permission to spend.

Business covers one production document experience. Integrated browser and server-side components can support that same experience across development, testing, staging and production, multiple instances and customer tenants.

Separate products or distinct document experiences need additional commercial scope. For broader scope, SLAs or custom terms, contact SuperDoc.

2. Review and approve checkout

  • Use the customer’s business email, project name and brief project description. A project URL is optional. Do not invent missing customer or project details.
  • Before submitting, show the customer the seven-day trial end date, $500 USD monthly recurring amount including applicable tax, first-charge date, renewal terms and cancellation terms. The final checkout and agreement govern the purchase.
  • Use the customer’s existing valid approval when it covers this subscription, recurring amount and linked Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and the wallet and agent platform permit proceeding. Otherwise obtain the missing approval. Do not reopen an agreed billing choice. Complete the required terms checkbox only with the required authorization.
  • Hand any authentication, payment approval or unsupported browser step back to the customer.

3. Use Stripe’s agent-payment tools

Stripe Link CLI supports customer-approved recurring purchases. Our monthly offer fits the currently documented $500 request ceiling because applicable tax is included. Check the customer’s available wallet limits and verification status before requesting approval; not every wallet will be eligible.

  • Read the monthly offer from /api/business-offers and check that it is enabled. Request approval for $500 USD per month, not the $0 amount due during the trial.
  • Follow Stripe’s Link payment instructions to connect the customer’s wallet and approve the repeating monthly amount. Use --amount 50000 --currency usd --recurring-interval month. Never create a live request without the customer’s authorization.
  • First check Stripe’s current limits and the customer’s wallet eligibility. Follow Stripe’s current Link payment instructions to select a supported credential. Do not assume Link Pay Token support just because checkout uses Stripe. If it is unavailable, use Stripe’s supported virtual-card flow within the applicable limits. Do not invent a merchant binding or copy wallet credentials into logs.
  • Use the current WebMCP tools to select a payment method and fill the form. Refresh the tool list when the form changes. Verify checkout completion on the merchant’s side.
  • A recurring Link credential can remain active between charges. Do not wait for a one-time wallet succeeded state to decide that a free trial started. Canceling a wallet credential does not cancel the merchant subscription.

Before submitting, verify that the approved credential supports the first charge after the seven-day trial and ongoing renewals. Respect the wallet’s valid_until and provider instructions; a saved short-lived credential alone is not enough. If that cannot be established, use a supported durable payment method with the customer’s approval.

For integration testing, Link’s virtual-card flow supports --test; Link Pay Tokens do not support test mode. Never put test credentials into live checkout.

stripe pay sends business-to-business transfers. Do not substitute a transfer for checkout: sending money alone does not create a Business subscription or complete onboarding.

4. Confirm signup and continue building

  • Confirm checkout actually completed. Opening checkout, sending a payment or seeing a model report success is not proof of an active subscription or trial.
  • Check the checkout email address for the welcome message, Slack invitation and license key or delivery details. Do not infer delivery from a static confirmation badge.
  • You can install SuperDoc and start building before your key arrives. Keep billing credentials and license keys out of public repositories and logs.
